    • The MsS guided wave technology and its application in oil-well tubing body inspection were introduced. The experimentation of oil-well tubing body inspection using guided waves was carried out and compared to the result of electromagnetic inspection method. By comparison, MsS guided wave technology can get the bodily information of oil-well tubing rapidity and with a high detecting sensitivity to cross-sectional area losses, and that electromagnetic inspection technology can pinpoint the defects circumferential position past multi-sensor technique, if under the same detecting condition. With the development of technology, the application of MsS guided wave technology in oil-well body tubing inspection has a broad prospect.
